ChattyCup lets your customers order and pay from their own phone — a QR code on the wall by the counter, or one on every table, opens your menu in their browser. Every order lands on a screen behind your counter with a ticket number: an iPad, or simply a web page on any computer, tablet or phone you already have. Nothing to key in, no queue at the till, no hardware to buy.
How it works

A customer scans the code
Put a QR code wherever suits — one on the wall by the counter for a takeaway or school cafe, or one per table if you do table service. We're happy to print them, or you can print your own. Scanning opens your menu in the phone's browser — categories, items, sizes and extras. No app to download, no account to make.
They tap out their order
A large flat white, oat milk, and a ham and cheese croissant — a few taps, plus a name to call out if they like. The order and total show for a quick check before paying.
They pay from their seat
Apple Pay, Google Pay or card, right there on their phone — or they can choose to pay at the counter when they collect. Card details never touch our servers.
Your team makes it
The order lands on your staff screen with a ticket number and table, in a live board your team moves from new to in progress to ready. Call the number or walk it out.

QR code ordering
One QR code on the wall, or one per table — your call. We're happy to print them for you, or print your own straight from the staff page. Scanning opens your menu on the customer's own phone — sizes, extras, a name to call out — and they order without queuing.
Pay on the phone or at the counter
Customers pay as they order with Apple Pay, Google Pay or card, or choose to pay at the counter when they collect. Either way the order is already on your board.
Staff board on anything with a browser
Live orders by ticket number and table, one tap to advance status. Open chattycup.com/staff on any laptop, PC, tablet or phone you already have — no iPad required (there's an iPad app if you'd like one). It can auto-print each new ticket, too.
Menu from a photo
Photograph your printed menu (or send a PDF, or paste the text) and ChattyCup reads it into categories, items, sizes and extras. Review, tweak, publish — no spreadsheets. Change a price in seconds later.
Your money, your Stripe
Connect your cafe's own Stripe account and card takings settle to you directly, less any agreed ChattyCup fee. ChattyCup never sees or stores card numbers.
Ticket printing, if you want it
Turn on auto-print and each new order prints as a ticket on any printer your counter computer can already print to. Or just work off the screen.
Privacy first
No customer accounts, no sign-ups, no tracking. ChattyCup keeps the order and a payment reference — never card numbers — and the most a customer ever gives is a first name to call out. Orders are matched by ticket number.
Nothing to download
Customers just scan and tap — no app to install, no account to create, no loyalty card to remember. Ordering takes seconds, and your staff need nothing more than a web browser.
